  2. Got to breathe some more? Wow so many things to do and remember. I better go and eliminate the nonessentials then. ;-)

As Rabindra Tagore said "It is very simple to be happy, but it is very difficult to be simple."

  3. Hi Tacomob

I spent my lifetime simplifying everything involved my time. One who masters himself (including breathing techniques), masters everything. :)

  4. Frugal Daddy,

Very rare and interesting to see milestones and achievements that have no precise numbers in them ;)

    Impressive!

By the way, once you have move up on your cultivation of "simplicity", you may want to remove those numbers at the Y axis. The calender year is a derivation of the clock ;)

Giving you a heads-up before the fisherman come knocking at your door ;)

    1. Hi SMOL

Good idea on the Y axis. However, keeping 1 magic figure - 40 is more telling. 最高境界还待磨练。哈哈

  6. Hi FD,

Your post FI milestones does not have your wife in it; she is going to be really angry and make your simple life complicated. Haha...just kidding.

Oh ya.... I seen it in the picture of Minions. :-)

From the people who I know with simple lifestyles in their later years, many already did go through a not-so-simple lifestyle in their earlier years.

Life is always very strange, when you are simple, you make life complicated, when your life is full of experiences and complications, eventually you aim for simplicity.

    1. Hi Rolf

I try not to involve my wife too much in my blog in case my cover got blown up. Lol

The opposite is always attractive. Human nature. This is how the grass is always greener at the other pasture. I have spent most time simplifying but life is too complex. I can't imagine those trying to complicate already complex matters. Is it "if you can't convince, use confuse" strategy? :)

Having milestones are the best way to keep track of our lives.

Haha. Many people have not realised they are breathing for years. May I appear at your home then? :)

You can do one too. It should be fast

    1. Hi GP Blogger

Fundamentals are the easiest to overlook. It will be good that people can practice meditation once a while. Yeah, spread the habit.

  9. Hi Frugal Daddy,

Congratulation for the achievement of milestones!

My definition of simplicity is : 一壶茶,一本书, 一盘棋。

    1. Hi Sanye

Thanks for dropping by. Hope to see you more often so i can gain your valuable knowledge.

I am still working on my milestones. haha. However, my confidence level to achieve these are >90%, as long as my wife and I stick to our plans. It is not difficult actually.

My simplicity is not as poetry as yours. 运动,读,聊天,看看人生百态,一家温馨。足矣。
